For the 2026 sowing, Russian enterprises are fully provided with seed material. Thus, 42.9 thousand tons of sunflower seeds will be produced, which covers the market demand by 97%, experts from the "National Seed Alliance" association estimated during a press conference. According to their calculations, 80 thousand tons of corn seeds are needed for the current year's sowing, and domestic producers will be able to provide 68 thousand tons, which is actually 85% of the demand. Companies will be fully provided with domestic soybean seeds.
