"Sorghum cultivation, the right choice for the second crop - Overcoming challenges and myths to expand with opportunities" was the theme of the seminar held on November 26 in Maracaju, Mato Grosso do Sul, by Embrapa and the company Inpasa, at the headquarters of the Rural Union. The crop stands out for providing greater production stability, lower water requirement, and greater tolerance to prolonged dry spells. The initiative is part of the technical cooperation agreement between Embrapa and Inpasa in the project "Technology transfer for the sustainable development of sorghum production in the Balsas/MA and Sidrolândia/MS regions, aiming at the production of ethanol and its co-products", led by the assistant head of Technology Transfer at Embrapa Corn and Sorghum, Frederico Botelho.
