Through resolution 806/2025 published this Wednesday in the Official Bulletin, the National Service of Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa) modified the regulations concerning the washing and disinfection sites for vehicles transporting animals.
As stipulated, a "national list of premises and/or washing sites" will now be created, comprising establishments providing hygiene and disinfection services, with the aim of "expanding the network of available washing facilities" in the country.
To be part of this enabling list, the agency has defined that washing facilities must complete a sworn declaration. This replaces the provisions of regulation 134/2021, which, according to the authorities, contained "documentary and infrastructure requirements that overlapped with municipal and provincial regulations".
