The article highlights the efforts of the Agricultural Jihad Organization in Lorestan, Iran, in setting up pumping stations to improve irrigation and increase production. Over the past three years, eight pumping stations have been established, covering 3,000 hectares of rainfed lands with modern irrigation systems. This has led to a significant increase in production and positive reactions from farmers. The collaboration between the Agricultural Jihad and the IRGC, as well as the participation of the private sector, has been key in these efforts. Lorestan is now ranked second in the country for the implementation of modern irrigation systems, with a total annual credit for pressurized irrigation in the province being 35 billion tomans.
