The United States has 20 free trade agreements (FTAs) with countries including Mexico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Central America, South Korea, and Colombia. These agreements are crucial for the export of U.S. corn, sorghum, barley, ethanol, and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) to these regions. In the 2019/2020 marketing year, these FTA partner countries accounted for nearly 53 percent of feed grains in all forms exports.
