Shrimp farmers in the province are focusing on the 2023 Lunar New Year crop, expecting high efficiency, good harvest, and high prices. Mr. Bui The Vuong has stocked for the Lunar New Year market, releasing 1.5 million seed for 15 ponds, and expects a yield of over 50 tons. The Quyet Thang Agricultural Cooperative is also developing 4 shrimp ponds for the Lunar New Year market, expecting a yield of about 40 tons. Many farmers have switched to high-tech farming to reduce risks and increase stability of output. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is closely monitoring farming areas, implementing environmental monitoring and warning tasks to provide recommendations to shrimp farmers.
