A strong storm in Lleida, Spain, has caused significant damage to crops, affecting 1,410 hectares of pear, peach, and nectarine crops in the Segrià region. The most affected area, Horta de Lleida, saw losses of 60 to 80% over 460 hectares. The storm brought hail the size of quail eggs and strong winds. The mayor and government subdelegate are working with Agroseguro to assess the damage and manage aid for the affected farmers.
