In 2022, Spanish pork exports to Mexico saw a significant increase of 56% in volume and 76% in value, reaching 25,000 tons with a value of over 78 million euros. This growth was highlighted at the recent Expo Carnes y Lácteos in Monterrey, where the Interprofesional del Porcino de Capa Blanca de España (INTERPORC) and six Spanish companies promoted Spanish white layer pork products. The focus was on showcasing the quality, food safety, and commitment to trust and partnership from the Spanish pork industry.
