Siirt pistachio is in high demand in the country and abroad, providing the country's economy with an annual income of over 7 billion liras. Stating that Siirt pistachio contributes greatly to the provincial and national economy, Siirt Chamber of Agriculture Chairman Hüseyin Günbat said that this year's pistachio harvest is around 30 thousand tons.
