According to JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy", from September 2025 to January 31, 2026, 5.8 million tons of grain will be exported, which is 1 million tons more compared to the same period of the previous marketing year (4.8 million tons). As noted by KTZ, the main growth in supplies is to the traditional markets of Central and South Asia. Thus, grain exports to Uzbekistan increased by 49% — from 1,813 thousand tons to 2,702 thousand tons. Supplies to Kyrgyzstan increased 1.7 times — from 95 thousand tons to 163 thousand tons. Supplies to Afghanistan increased 1.9 times — from 216 thousand tons to 416 thousand tons.
