Since the beginning of 2023, the import of more than 7 thousand tons of fish and seafood from 13 countries of the world has been controlled in Russia's Kaliningrad region

Over 3776 tons of frozen fish from countries such as the Faroe Islands, Morocco, Thailand, Vietnam, China, New Zealand, Ecuador, and Chile, as well as 3107 tons of shrimp from Ecuador, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and China, 24 tons of squid from Peru, and 132 tons of mussels from Chile, were imported into Russia. The products underwent border veterinary control by the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kaliningrad Region and were then permitted to enter Russia.
