Since the beginning of 2024, under the supervision of specialists from the Novorossiysk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Grain Quality Assessment Center”, more than 47.8 thousand tons of Russian rye have been exported through the sea ports of the Krasnodar Territory for food purposes: 44.6 thousand tons to Spain and 3.2 thousand. tons – to the State of Israel. This is 13 thousand tons more than for the entire period of 2023, when 34.9 thousand tons of Russian rye were sent to these countries. Each batch of rye sent for export undergoes a series of tests in the testing laboratory of the Novorossiysk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Grain Quality Assessment Center”. Specialists check the phytosanitary condition of the batches, examine quality and safety indicators for compliance with the requirements of importing countries.
