Exports of fish and seafood products from Russia have significantly increased, with China becoming the leading importer, receiving 301,328 tons since the start of the year, more than doubling the amount from the same period last year. Other countries including the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Thailand have also imported these products in substantial quantities. The Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Region have exported to a total of 15 countries, with products such as pollock, cod, and live crab being the most popular. The exports have been verified to meet the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and the importing countries.
