The Brazilian government has announced a new milestone in its agricultural trade relations with Singapore, with the latter granting health approval for Brazil to export live lobsters. This approval follows the earlier access Granted in February for sheep meat and beef extract. In the first nine months of 2024, Singapore's imports from Brazil reached US$540 million, and this new authorization marks Brazil's 195th market opening of the year, with a total of 273 openings in 61 countries since 2023, attributed to the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE).
