Singapore opens market for Vietnamese eggs and poultry meat

Approved products include heat-processed poultry meat (from CPV Food Co LTd and MeatDeli HN Company Ltd); canned poultry eggs and meat (excluding beef), sterilized at high temperature and high pressure as recommended by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary. The Singapore Food Authority (SFA) has officially approved the opening of the import market for these products from March 11, marking an important step forward in agricultural trade relations between the two countries. In 2024, Singapore imported about 2.88 billion USD of poultry meat and eggs. Of which, the value of fresh, chilled or frozen meat items was more than 1.25 billion USD; the value of processed meat items was 160 million USD and the value of poultry eggs was more than 194 million USD.
