Six companies were approved by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) for the federal government's diesel price subsidy program, created to mitigate the impacts of rising oil prices. They are part of the second subsidy period. Gunvor Brasil, Altavista Energy, Rdp Energia, Rio Trading, Temape - Terminais Marítimos De Pernambuco S/A, and Creso Produtos Quimicos S.A. appear on the list available on the ANP website. The economic subsidy for the commercialization of diesel oil was established by Provisional Measure No. 1,340/2026. According to the rules, agents will receive the subsidy for imported diesel at R$ 1.52 per liter for the first two months, extendable for an equal period, and R$ 0.80 per liter for diesel produced in Brazil. These resources add to the R$ 0.32 initially announced by the government.
