A smaller organic apple harvest is expected in the European Union

Italy is experiencing a decrease in organic apple production, dropping from 162,000 tons to 156,000 tons. Germany's organic apple harvest is projected to be 25% lower than 2023, with an estimated yield of 127,000 tons. In contrast, Italy's organic pear production has seen a significant increase of 117% to over 28,000 tons. Meanwhile, Belgium's organic pear production is expected to be about a third lower than the previous year, with an estimated yield of 11,200 tons.
