The European demand for large-sized carrots from Israel is very high this season. The season has about a month and a half left. The carrot harvest is also starting in Southern Europe, but there are currently mainly smaller sizes there. European growers have now started harvesting mainly smaller carrots, while there is of course a demand for large calibers. For the medium sizes, the traders can turn back to local European production within a few weeks. Our season will be over in about four to six weeks.
