The "Sorghum Sudan Grass Hybrid Production Dissemination Project" has successfully provided a high-yield feed crop to three farmers in Tokat, Turkey, as part of the Program for the Activation of Agricultural Land Use (TAKE). The sorghum sudan grass hybrid, planted on 10 decares of land after wheat harvest, requires less water, fertilizer, and seed, and yielded 7 tons per decare. The project aims to reduce feed costs and increase profit margin for livestock breeders, with the potential to contribute to the country's economy by disseminating the product. The harvest was celebrated with local authorities, who encourage other farmers to try the crop.
