The South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has audited Argentina's National Agri-Food Health and Quality Service (Senasa) to verify its certification system for fishing products. The MFDS praised Senasa's consistent control process, the presence of official personnel at each establishment, and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) systems. The delegation confirmed that Senasa's administration and control structure guarantees safe food trade to South Korea. The agreement between both countries will be effective from August 10, with the list of Senasa-approved plants for export to South Korea being published.
