Turkiye: Southeast's 5-month grain exports are 1.4 billion dollars

The grains, pulses, oilseeds and products sector, which maintains export leadership in the Southeastern Anatolia region, increased its exports by 9.2 percent in the first five months of the year, reaching 1.4 billion dollars. Grain producers, who realized 31.6 percent of the exports in the region, exported 253 million dollars of pasta in the 5-month period. The export of vegetable oils, where exports increased by more than 50 percent in terms of quantity, reached 234 million dollars. In the first 5 product groups, the products whose export unit prices per kg increased were biscuits-cake and cocoa products.
