This concentrate consists of residual products from the food industry. Only a small part of the ration (approx. 1-2%) consists of soya meal that contains a lot of high-quality protein. Since 2015, the Dutch dairy sector has been using 100% responsibly certified soy for this. It does this in consultation with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Solidaridad and Natuur&Milieu. This means that the dairy sector covers its entire soy consumption with certificates for responsible soy that meet the criteria of the Round Table on Responsible Soy (RTRS).
