Russian farmers are set to achieve record harvests of soybeans and rapeseed this year, with expected yields of 7 million and 4.8 million tons, respectively, as reported by Vladimir Petrichenko of the Prozerno analytical center. These increases will help offset a projected decline in the sunflower harvest from 17.25 to 15.85 million tons due to adverse weather. Overall, the oilseed harvest will see a slight decrease of 1.2% compared to last year, excluding regions like Donbass and Novorossiya. The VII Agro-Food Forum in Novosibirsk, scheduled for November 6-8, will include plenary sessions and thematic sections with participation from around 55 enterprises across various Russian regions.
