CNA's assistant technical director and the president of its National Cereals, Fibers and Oilseeds Commission recently engaged in discussions with Paraguayan producers and representatives to explore new technologies for managing Asian soybean rust. The meetings were also aimed at addressing the challenges faced by Paraguayan producers and formulating strategies for preventing and managing rust to mitigate financial losses. The focus was also on sustainability in soy production and aligning production practices to avoid pressure from importing countries. The meetings were facilitated by Corteva and attended by representatives from various agricultural organizations from both countries.
