Occupying second place on the national export podium was the corn complex, accounting for 11.2% of total national exports, with sales of US $ 6,151 million and growth of 2.1% compared to 2019. In the case of the sector automotive, this fell to third place, motivated by the sharp fall in industrial trade in 2020 caused by the coronavirus pandemic that affects the planet.
