Spain will adopt new control measures in areas of special irrigation and surveillance starting from November 10 following an increase in cases, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has stated. The MAPA has assured in an order published this Wednesday that in recent weeks there has been an increase in cases detected in both wild birds and poultry, indicating a "trend towards the worsening of the situation with the consequent increase in risk for Spain".
