In 2022, Peru experienced a significant growth in the export of extra virgin olive oil, with a total of 1,638,229 liters exported, marking a 107.6% increase from the previous year. The country's four-year average growth rate for extra virgin olive oil exports stands at +29.5%. Spain was the primary importer, receiving 36% of the total exports, followed by Chile with 24.3%. Other markets accounted for the remaining 39.7% of exports.
