Spain and Portugal promote the quality of European almonds in four countries

Two associations from the almond sector in Spain and Portugal have launched a campaign in four European countries to promote the sustainability and quality of European almonds. This was announced this Thursday by the president of the Spanish association of exporters SAB-Almendrave, Pere Ferré, and Albino Bento, from the Dried Fruit Competence Center of Portugal, at a ceremony held at the Casino Primitivo in Albacete, within the framework of the VIII Almond and Hazelnut Meeting. Germany (important center for the manufacture of chocolates with almonds), France (the largest consumer of almond flour), Portugal and Spain will be the markets in which this Iberian product will seek to consolidate itself as an option that is respectful of the planet, according to a statement.
