Spain has reported its first outbreaks of epizootic haemorrhagic disease (EHE) in two bovine farms, leading to changes in the country's epidemiological conditions and potentially impacting exports. The Algete Central Veterinary Laboratory confirmed the outbreaks in Cádiz and Seville provinces. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has notified the European Commission and the World Organization for Animal Health (OMSA) of the situation. The developments may affect exports and could result in stricter import restrictions from Spain, particularly for ovine and caprine products.
