Spain has placed five extra virgin olive oils (evoo) among the ten best in the world, according to the list announced this Tuesday by the Evooleum Guide and which is topped by an Italian oil. The Monini Monocultivar Coratina oil, an Italian monovarietal of the olive that has won the award the most times, occupies the first position, followed by the South African De Rustica Estate Collection Coratina and the Spanish Valdenvero Hojiblanco. The latter comes from Ciudad Real and its producer has also won the award for the best female producer and the best olive mill manager.
