In 2024, Spain's pork and pork product exports to non-EU countries slightly increased to 1,375,736 tonnes, despite a 7.98% decrease in frozen meat exports. This decrease was balanced by a 13% rise in offal exports. Asia, led by China, continued to drive international demand. China imported 238,130 tonnes of frozen meat and 278,248 tonnes of offal from Spain, making it Spain's primary trading partner. Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines were also significant importers of Spanish pork and offal.
