The national consumption of wine has fallen by 5.2%, to 9,356,270 hectoliters in 2025, according to the latest report from the Interprofessional Organization of Wine of Spain (OVIE). In the document, the OIVE has analyzed the Infovi data as of December 2025, detailing that domestic consumption fell by 517,276 hectoliters compared to 2024. Meanwhile, wine and must stocks as of December 2025 have been reduced by 6.8%, to 46,415,075 hectoliters less than the same period of the previous year.
