Brazilian producers and exporters of specialty coffees participated in events in Japan that could generate up to US$ 70.125 million in business. Of this total, US$ 7.18 million were closed in person, and US$ 62.945 million are projected for the next 12 months, according to the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA). Between September 24 and 27, Brazilians participated in the SCAJ World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition 2025, the largest fair in the sector in Asia, and the "Taste of the Harvest" round, with 53 invited importers. A total of 722 business contacts were made, 297 of them with new partners. Japan is one of the main destinations for Brazilian coffee. In 2024, the country imported 2.211 million bags of 60 kg, corresponding to 4.4% of national exports and occupying the fifth place in the ranking of buyers.
