On January 31, 2025, the Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board reported significant trade activities at the Bac Luan II bridge border gate. A total of 22 enterprises exported 112 vehicles, 368 tons of seafood, worth nearly 9 million USD, and 384 tons of fruit (jackfruit) worth over 370,000 USD. This trade activity, which totaled over 750 tons of goods, marks the resumption of import-export activities following the temporary suspension for the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025. The city of Mong Cai welcomed tourists and continued operations at the Bac Luan I Bridge Border Gate, indicating a successful and prosperous start to the year.
