In effect since September 2025, the new system brings procedural standards and deadlines that aim to reduce uncertainties and avoid the interruption of activities whenever possible. "Companies now tend to have greater clarity about what to expect, how to position themselves, and how to seek regularization," explains the lawyer Guilherme de Castro Souza, a specialist in Business Law with a focus on the agroindustry. The rules were detailed by decree and ordinance that regulate current legislation. Among the mechanisms provided is the Term of Conduct Adjustment (TAC), which can be applied after the final decision to replace penalties such as suspension or revocation with fines, provided that the company accepts to comply with conditions defined by the ministry.
