The stone fruit production of the Region of Murcia expects to exceed 356,000 tons of excellent quality product for marketing in Spain and export to third countries during the current campaign. The Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fishing, Sara Rubira, advanced this figure during her visit to the La Vega de Cieza Cooperative, where she highlighted that "the best stone fruit in the world, which we produce here, will once again be in the homes of the entire country and in those of thousands of citizens from other countries who appreciate its quality".
