Strawberries from Konya's Hüyük district have been awarded the European Union Geographical Indication, marking the 25th Turkish product to receive this status. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared the news on social media, and Hüyük Mayor Sadık Sefer thanked various officials and contributors, highlighting that this is Konya's first EU-registered product. The recognition is anticipated to bring prosperity to the district, Konya, and Turkey.
