Strong support for buffalo breeding in Düzce

Within the scope of the Buffalo Breeding Development Project carried out in collaboration between the Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Provincial Special Administration, 17 breeding buffalo bulls were delivered to producers. In Düzce, a total of 2,464 buffaloes are raised in 130 businesses, contributing significantly to Düzce livestock with an annual production of 950 tons of milk and 145 tons of meat. The Buffalo Breeding Development Project, carried out in collaboration between the Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Provincial Special Administration, aims to increase herd productivity, strengthen breeding efforts, and ensure sustainability in production through the distribution of breeding buffalo bulls.
