Sugar production season is in full swing in Ukraine

According to the Scientific and Practical Center for Sugar Beet Production (NPC of Sugar Beet Production), a total of 33 enterprises were involved in the sugar production season. As of November 11, due to insufficient raw materials, 7 sugar factories completed the season. As of the reporting date, more than 970 thousand tons of sugar were produced from sugar beets, in 2020, as of the reporting date, about 710 thousand tons of sugar were produced. The sugar content in beet processing has significantly improved since the beginning of the season and is on average in Ukraine a little more than 16.7%, which is more than in 2020 (16.3% at the reporting date) by 0.4%.
