Farmers in Vietnam's Duc Tho district are experiencing a successful harvest of summer-autumn beans, including varieties of red beans and black-eyed peas, despite challenges like replanting due to rain damage. The crop is expected to yield 16 quintals per hectare, with some areas potentially reaching 18 quintals. The district has planted over 1,200 hectares of beans, despite weather challenges and a long drought. The average yield has increased by two quintals from the previous year, and the selling price has also increased, making bean farming a significant source of income for farmers.
