Egypt: Offering Sudanese meat, local and Brazilian poultry, Norwegian and Scottish fish

Al-Mal conducted an inspection tour of the automated slaughterhouse of the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry in Al-Basateen area in Cairo Governorate, in order to follow up on the receipt and offering of Sudanese meat, local and Brazilian frozen poultry, and local and imported fish in the branches of consumer complexes and outlets affiliated to the Ministry of Supply, in addition to the exhibitions and stands of Welcome Ramadan. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab, Managing Director of the Egyptian Company for Meat and Poultry, told Al-Mal during the tour, with the participation of the Media Center of the Ministry of Supply, that 350 tons of local and imported fish are offered monthly in the outlets affiliated with the ministry at prices lower than the local market, with rates ranging from 5 to 10%.
