In line with local development goals, the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services Directorate continues to support farmers engaged in greenhouse production. The Directorate, in coordination with agricultural engineers, continues to provide sticky trap support to producers in greenhouse production areas to combat plant pests such as thrips and whiteflies. In Kaş district, 2,400 traps were distributed to 80 farmers. During the studies coordinated by agricultural engineers, farmers were also given training on the use of traps and the fight against diseases and pests. Teams conducting inspections in greenhouses and gardens explained how to use the traps and which products they should be used on. Producers expressed their satisfaction with the sticky trap supports, which are also preferred for organic farming.
