On October 22, in Can Tho City, Syngenta Vietnam Co., Ltd. collaborated with its strategic partner, Vietnam Fungicide Corporation (VFC), to introduce Blastogan® 75WP - an effective solution for controlling sheath blight, helping rice farmers protect crop yield and quality. The event was attended by leading scientists in the field of agriculture from the Southern Plant Protection Center, Can Tho City Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Department of Crop Cultivation and Plant Protection of the Mekong Delta provinces. Notably, the event had over 300 rice farmers from the Mekong Delta, Southeast region, and representatives from agricultural supply dealership systems. Currently, in rice cultivation, sheath blight is one of the most dangerous diseases affecting rice plants, causing yield losses of 30 - 50% each season.
