The table grape campaign for 2025 is in full swing, and Mario Mellone, commercial manager of OP Melodia, which operates in Puglia and Basilicata with about 100 hectares of vineyards, is drawing an initial balance. "The start of the campaign," explains Mellone, "was relatively calm, favored by a good production stability at the European level. However, we have recorded an important market downturn, mainly due to the increased presence of product from other countries, particularly Greece and Egypt, which has impacted demand and prices.
