Russia: Tambov Region harvested less grain than planned during the sowing campaign

Tambov Region agriculture produced almost 3 million tons of grain this year. Due to spring frosts, initial forecasts had to be seriously adjusted downwards. It is noted that this year, significantly more wheat harvested corresponds to the 3rd and 4th food classes. The Tambov Region Ministry of Agriculture reported that farmers in the region have harvested 2.9 million tons of grain from the fields.
