Tariffs for freight rail transportation will increase in Kazakhstan from March 7

JSC NC KTZ announced that from March 7 it will introduce increasing indices to tariffs for regulated railway services for freight transportation. As explained by KTZ, the increasing indices will affect export and transit transportation of goods and the return of empty wagons, including with the participation of Kazakhstan railway stations located on the territory of the EAEU member states. The increasing index will triple the following types of goods: coal, iron ore, grain, non-ferrous and ferrous scrap metal, chemicals, fertilizers, non-ferrous metal ore and their rolled products, cotton and alcoholic beverages.
