By the end of Q1 2025, Vietnam exported over 1,500 tons of tea to the US, valued at more than 2.1 million USD, accounting for 5.62% of its total tea export turnover. Despite a slight drop in average export prices, the US remains a stable and promising market, especially for black tea, ranking as the 6th largest market for Vietnamese tea with notable growth over the past three years. The US market presents opportunities for organic, herbal, and premium tea products, aided by preferential tax rates, encouraging businesses to enhance exports and establish long-term distribution channels during the current tax exemption period.
