Tea exports experienced a decline in January 2023 due to the Lunar New Year holiday interruption. However, it is expected that export activities will resume normally. All major markets saw a decrease in imports, with the exception of Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, USA, Iraq, Indonesia, and a few other countries. Notably, exports to India, Saudi Arabia, and China increased, despite being major production and export markets where domestic demand is high. This indicates a positive outlook for the tea industry, with potential for stable growth.
