Tea is highly consumed in Turkey, with an average of 245 million bars being consumed daily, totaling to 8 billion 820 million cups per year. Tea prices have significantly increased in recent months, with the price of 1 kg of tea exceeding 150 lira, resulting in a price increase of over 110 percent since June.
