The Brazilian emb embrapa Caprinos e Ovinos has launched a technological update course for technicians from the National Rural Learning Service (Senar) to boost the sustainability of goat and sheep production in the Brazilian Semiarid Region and increase the value of meat, dairy products, and their derivatives. The course, which will run online for 124 technicians from Bahia, Ceará, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, and Piauí, covers six pillars of goat and sheep farming and is divided into five modules with virtual meetings at the end of each. The first class received positive feedback from 95% of the participants.
